FLIP hasn't done me any wrong, my friends...unless you count whatever it is a deep-fried burger patty might do to your insides. the space itself makes me feel like i'm in bizarro world, like it's just slightly off-kilter from reality. strange? maybe. but the food and service have been great. the menu has something for everyone, and it's totes affordable--minus that wagyu thang, of course... i've been hard-pressed to stray away from what is certainly one of the most delicious burger concoctions i've ever had--the Southern. it's a chicken-fried patty topped with pimento cheese and those awesome bread + butter pickles, and it is AWESOME. big high fives for it staying crunchy!! it's a textural dream. i have sampled bites of my dude's lamb burger (not too shabby--i like the twist on greek-style with the tzatziki stuff and raisin 'ketchup'), as well as the simpler burger with blue cheese (forget it's name). he also fell in love with the special burger topped with a runny fried egg. the milkshakes are tasty, but they melt way too fast...and are friggin' HUGE. i kept seeing tables with little highball-glass shakes, and wish i'd known about the mini-size. or maybe they had them split one? my only gripe is that the fried sides/apps (okra, onion rings) are really greasy--not my fave, and probably wouldn't order them again. the wait can be a bitch, but with a drink in hand, who cares? tasty meat!

Every singe time I come to this place I have a good time. Sometimes its for dinner (the food is always good), chips and salsa (I over eat because of the beans) or just to drink their $5 margaritas. I am always clear to ask for the classic style, so they know Im a cheapskate and dont want the more expensive margarita. The dining room books up quickly so call ahead for reservations, or just stumble in like I usually do and figure it out from there. There is a great outdoor patio in the back that I sometimes like to hang out at when friends are with me and we need some fresh air.

I wish I was from Atlanta so I could come to the aquarium all the time! We had a blast at the World's Largest Aquarium. This place has got everything, even a food court for when you have the munchies. The exhibits are beautiful and there are a lot of areas where you can lounge and relax. There are so many photo opportunities, and for better photos of the fishes, be sure to turn off the flash to prevent a glare. My favorite part of the aquarium is the place where you can sit and just stare at the dozens of large and small fishes from the viewing room area. It's a must see!
