by Lucretia Enger on I love this club. My favorite in the LA area. Feels like a Vegas club in Hollywood. Others here on rateclubs are right, the bouncers do suck! One of the bouncers kept trying to hit on my friend and I all night. He was gross! We kept telling him to get away and do his job. He was just acting like a douche to us and to all the other guests at the club that night. Other than the bouncers, my experience has always been great. A plus is parking is cheap. The music is good, depending on whos playing for the night. The ambiance is great. The best decor in Hollywood.
by Melaine Stroupe on Loved it! You don't have to come with a group to enjoy Nightlife at CAS. Some people would find it boring if they came here during regular hours (which by the way costs $25), so why not come during Nightlife and pay only $10, AND get to purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages (which might I add makes any boring thing interesting haha), plus there's music AND you don't have to worry about a bunch of little kids running around?! My most favorite exhibit was the Rainforests of the World. Loved it! You walk in and it feels like you were transported to a jungle in Costa Rica. The temperature, the smell, the butterflies, the birds flying around, the water, the greenery...everything was beautiful. If I could, I would totally take home the Albino alligator. Okay I lied. The Rainforests of the World wasn't my favorite exhibit. It was the Morrison Planetarium. Quite possibly the world's largest all-digital planetarium. Now, if I could take THIS thing home, that would be frikkin' awesome. If there was one thing I'd come back to the Ca. Acad. of Sciences for, it would not be for Nightlife or the Rainforests of the World or any other exhibit; it would be to lay back in my seat at the Planetarium and be taken "out of this world" with the latest technology. This is a must see!
by Steve S. on The best place to have a wedding party. Seriously. My wife and I had the best time here. And so did 400 of our closest friends. Pam and her staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly, eveyrthing we could have asked for. And then everyone got naked in the pool.
