After reviewing La Caverna, how could I not review this place? For a short summer stint, I ended up here every other weekend. Guess you can call me mundane. Definitely very "Asian-centric" so for guys, if you have yellow fever you know the go to spot. No cover which is a plus in MePa. Strict door policy of 1:1 ratio of guys to girls. Also semi strict on dress code, they wouldn't let my friend in with dark sneakers yet when I went in, I saw people with white Converse... This place is very spacious, two floors nice decor although aging. Food is alright as well, but prepare to wait a long time to be served. Here's a trick, instead of waiting at the overcrowded bar upstairs, just get your drink downstairs and bring it up! The bartenders are much nicer on the first floor anyway.

First of all, we waited in a line for awhile and we got there around 12:30? I was not feeling that so much but whatever. Then, the cover for me bf and me came out to $60..excuse me? That's just a bit ridiculous, and I'm not a huge club-goer but I know a rip-off. We shelled out our cash though, because a friend was DJing and we wanted to show our support. Once we got inside, the atmosphere was OK, the main dance room was crowded and people were getting down to hip-hop but it seemed decent. We really wanted to go upstairs to the techno/house floor..but apparently you needed a wristband. Like it was so VIP..please. Eventually, we flagged down our promoter and got the bands, but not before waiting around for an hour trying to figure out how to find the kid. The bouncers weren't super-friendly but not mean either--just trying to keep everyone in line. A vodka tonic and a Bud Light cost $18 or something in that ridiculous range. Good thing though, the bars were never too crowded so drinks were quick to order. Still, by the end of the night, I really hated Touch because our friend didn't even get to go on. That's some BULLLSHITTT. Overall, not a great experience. I'd say you could go somewhere else much nicer for the same amount of money. If I hadn't had so much vodka prior to club entry, I probably would have been more pissed. Lucky for me and for Touch. Not worth the money though.

Step #1 Ask random bouncer where's the guest list line. He then says the line to the right is for table service and the other line is guest list.  But what if your party has a table?  What then?  The confused bouncer says guest list. Step #2 Get in the huge long guest list line.  Call friend who's inside.  Friend comes out but says she can't do anything. Step #3 Bouncer cannot find my name on the guest list.  Then informs me there's a cover charge after 10:30.  Then says the "table service" line was really for media/celebrities (celebs?? wtf?).  I explain I'm in media if that helps.  After some more back and fourth, he lets me in without me paying cover. Step #4 Go find friends.  Walk past the red carpet (what is going on here?)  My friends are upstairs. The bouncer at the stairs says it's for wristbands only. But since I'm by myself, he lets me up. Step #5 I cannot find my friends.  A dreadful feeling befalls me. Step #6 Get the hell out of the busy crowded club.  I'm apparently at the wrong club.  Damn. Step #7 Write a review praising the place for letting a "nobody" like me get in despite not being on the list nor having a wristband.  Ahaha. Yeah, I'll have to go back.  I do like the courtyard set-up and the upstairs that is above the bar.  It was very noisy though.  And it was pretty annoying they blocked off all the seating basically for private parties.  I unexpectedly got trapped in multiple reserved areas.  If only I could have partied with them all.  I'm sure it would have been fun but my real destination was next door.
