by Miquel Schatzman on Oh the infamous Nick's tacos...FINALLY...I got to try this place! I had no idea it is connected to Rouge! There was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind waiting. The crowd was lively and the music amazing (every 80's, 90's and current song I love, seriously one great song after another). The tacos were much bigger than I expected, I got mine Nick's way and it was really good. I tried the carne asada and the chicken,preferred the carne asada (more flavor). All in all, loved it, but you need to be in the mood for crowded and lively (which I love). I will definitely be back...gonna try the fish tacos next time...hmmm maybe I will go back next week lol.
by Chang Lesney on My friends always raved about Yoshis, when I finally went, it definitely did not disappoint! I've gone twice: once for Erykah Badu and the other for Foreign Exchange. The ambiance is spectacular and the music is superb! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Erykah Badu because she decided she wanted to come 10 min before Yoshis closed down. (WTH!?) By that time, I was donezo. But, the music was sooo on point that I really didn't care. Also, their drinks are pretty generous so I was definitely feelin' myself! When I went for Foreign Exchange, it was a lot more intimate. D-Brock sang right to me! After they perform, they're also kind enough to do meet and greets. I got several pictures with them and I eve n saw them choppin it up and exchanging numbers. Super cool. I never tried the food but I will let you know how it is when I do. I just love the atmosphere here and it is definitely on my favorites list though I've only been here twice!
by gabriele g. on [Club review] Not a place I usually hang out/go on the weekends. Cover is 20 bucks so that's a little much for me (can use that better for drinks!!) 18+. You have to be either high on something or really wasted and just dance your ass off all night until 4 am. There are downstairs dance, and two upstairs, mostly house & trance music....all night!! So if you like trance, this is the place for you. Another star because it's right off the bay so it's nice to hang out in the deck area with your drinks, cigs and your cutie =) Also everyone's wearing bras & panties.... look like it was bra & pantie night for the gals!
