by Bindi N. on I"m a fan of this midtown spot! Great out of the way place for a quiet drink with a couple of friends and a bite to eat, or an after dinner drink and dessert. Love the atmosphere...dim, quiet, and intimate. My only negative comment is the bar area is a bit small...if you come after about 10ish on a weekend night, you may be hard-pressed to find a comfortable seat at the bar. However, that just makes it that much more romantic when you do find your perfect spot... If you are fan of sushi or ceviche, try the tuna tartar on flat bread. It has a little kick from the miso spread...and it's seriously delicious. The second time I visited, a friend and I shared the pork skewers and a salad, and were suprisingly satisfied. Good wine selection overall, athough for the price point, I was not super impressed with the red wine selection. Overall, yes...try it.
by Erin L. on I don't think i'll eat a philly cheese steak ever again. It does NOT look or taste appetizing, and my stomach definitely did not agree with it. =T It's not good for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, late night, or desserts!!!
by Rufus Blisset on I went on Saturday, May 31st for the PaperStreet party, so this is not really a review of the restaurant. However, some things do not change because of the circumstances... The bathroom is a little tricky to find, and the servers I saw were so busy talking amongst themselves that they didn't notice me standing there waiting for a break in the conversation for almost 5 minutes. There is a WONDERFUL bartender named Hannah, and she gets a star all by herself! :)
