An Allegheny County judge on Tuesday signed a court order permanently closing Chauncy's, a popular Station Square nightclub that prosecutors and police deemed a "nuisance bar."
Attorney Robert Lampl said the owners, Green Tree-based Pozy's of Pittsburgh, consented to the closure because an agreement with the landlords called for Chauncy's to close on Jan. 10.
Last Wednesday, federal prosecutors unsealed criminal indictments accusing club managers of operating a multistate heroin ring.

I don't know what people expect when they come here and then bitch about the food. Its greasy hot dogs and fries people! Maybe everyone is just ordering wrong. I've always stuck to the chili, slaw dogs and onion rings or fries and they're always solid. On the rare occasion that I'm in the mood for a hot dog, these certainly hit the spot. You MUST order a FO with every order....really refreshing. So...order the slaw dogs and a FO, steer clear of the burgers and stop bitching.

At first we were hesitant 'cause there were pockets of people sitting stoically on cushion benches that reminded my friend of hospital beds, but as the place filled up and the music picked up, everyone got drunk, loud and dancing. No cover and in the end, a great time!
