by Matt M. on After the assholes at Southside or whatever those retarded Martignetti's brothers have decided to call their venue now dismissed us at the door because we had TOO MANY GIRLS!!! A few of us left and walked over to GoldBar for sh#ts and giggles. From everything I have heard about this place I was expecting a slim to no chance of getting in. But we had an even ratio and were let in without so much as a hesitation! This place lives up to the hype, the decor is amazing!!! I felt like I was in a quasi-catacomb but lovingly one that blasted house music. Extremely attractive and even more so generous crowd, as a guy I am almost never offered drinks but not tonight, the vodka was flowing from left and right like wine.
by Laur T. on I came here for the rateclubs event. Without which, I doubt I'd ever come here. The concept is just so not my thang. However, I have to say that I truly enjoyed myself on rateclubs night and loved it that tokens were provided as part of the package. I had a great time exploring the place and landing myself one of those cute stuffed toys (of course, I strategically chose games with higher odds of winning rather than those that I really wanted to give a shot at cos everybody loves to leave a winner =D)
by Jeromy Tirri on Yes, is may be a bit over-hyped and it is certainly pricey and pretentious - but you get what you pay for. The fish is swimmingly fresh and the dishes are NOT traditional. The sizzling bowls (one with Yellowtail another with Kobe Beef) and desserts are outstanding. It budget and appetite permits, say "omikase" to the chef and you will be well taken care of. This is a special occaision (or expense account) place. FOr every day sushi eating, I go to Shiroi Hana. Don't miss the succelent toro tartar. What a treat! The upstairs bar is a nice place for dessert and drinks afterward.
