Like: - 1920s feel - Stage for live entertainment (there was a Burlesque dancer the night we went...she danced with both grace and desire). - Mojitos and Jack-and-Daniel well done! - Sweet potato fries - Table reservation (read Note) Dislike: - Socially awkward guys (even one socially awkward gentleman can make it socially awkward for everyone. It is my impression that once women know there is AT LEAST ONE weird guy the "look out" mode is turned to medium-high.) Note: GREAT place for young professionals (~25 and older) and AWESOME place for small-medium size groups (6-12 people). NICE place to go with your significant other. FOR GUYS- 1) reserve a table. It is $25 per person minimum. Here's what $25 per person means: if you have 10 people (like we did), then that means the entire table needs to spend a minimum of $250. This $250 can include drinks and food. 2) Wear dress shoes 3) Dress in your classiest apparel not just to stand out but to add to the festive atmosphere. FOR GIRLS- might be uncomfortable if you come here with only a few of your girlfriends; better to come with some guys friends (mean-looking males might help you ward off extremely aggressive guys). Directions: Better look carefully on Google Maps before attempting to come here blindly.

Well, I was really excited about dining here, but this place did not live up to its reputation, but judging from past reviews, it seems like it is going down hill. Went there for Brunch/Breakfast this past weekend. It took over 15 minutes to just get noticed and then over 10 minutes after that to just get some coffee and juice. Apparently there was only 1 server, as that is the only person we saw. I felt bad for the server, because he was doing the best he could do. We were very patient and understanding unlike others in the restaurant, but knowing what it is like being a server and such, I kept my cool, but the management really needs to step up their game, its a great place that has plenty of potential. The food was just alright, nothing special. I had the $17 Southern Glam breakfast and there was nothing southern nor glam about it. I am from Alabama, I know a good southern breakfast. Eggs were just eggs, the "cheese grits" were instant grits with just a little bit of cheese on top of them as a garnish, NOT CHEESE GRITS. Biscuit and Gravy was HORRIBLE. I also had a side of fresh fruit, and it was GREAT! lol The OJ is out of a jug, and at 4 bucks a glass (that is small) I expect it to be fresh squeezed. I will not be coming back for Brunch/Breakfast, but may try dinner if I ever have a chance.
