Came by here on a Thursday night with a group of girlfriends. We were looking for a place to grab some drinks and lounge--Sugar Cafe was walking distance, so we stopped in. The atmosphere was very lounge-y. Lots of places for us to sit and they had lots of mixed drinks for us to order. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be--I recall paying $16.50ish for 2 Irish car bombs (which is actually pretty cheap!). Of course, after the Irish car bombs, I have a hard time remembering what else we drank. It wasn't that busy--just a few couples making out by the fireplace area--so it was actually the perfect spot for us to catch up. The music was pretty good (they were playing music videos on a giant screen tv on the window), but it wasn't so loud that you had to shout over each other to talk. Sugar Cafe was located next door to some club, so a few of us got to get our groove on after drinking at the Sugar Cafe. All in all, not a bad place for a night out with some friends.

John Collins owners open this new lounge up...was here during opening weekend and just a few days ago on a Friday night. What I like.. - Decor, atmosphere is chill, hip - Restrooms clean - Door peoples cool - Intimate, small set-up but has booths - No cover What I don't like... - It's nothing out of the ordinary that jumps out at me; or as business people would say, where's the differentiation in their product? - Music can get very loud since the speakers are very huge and the space is small (it's like in a rectangular shape)

This is probably my favorite restaurant currently. I love the half glasses of wine - although I usually end up drinking 6-8 of them.... and the goat cheese bread with truffle oil is a destination appetizer. I've gone there many times just so I can order that and I never seem to get tired of it. I had the duck last time and it was delicous. It's all great - I highly recommend it.
