I was pleasantly surprised with La Vida considering the fact that most reviews were deathly neutral on this place. Guys GET ON THE LIST, if not, you're paying $20, ladies are always free of course. Luckily I was on the list and didn't have to deal with your typical Hollywood front door drama. Nice, simple, contemporary decor, plants aligning the outside walls made you feel like you were in the jungle, well if a jungle had tables in the middle and speakers all around the outside as well as the inside; in other words, music was playing throughout the place. I could see how that can bother people but I enjoyed it. The DJ was good, spun everything - top 40, house, techno, Old School Hip Hop and R&B. I was surprised when he played Skee Lo, hahaha but it was a good surprise. As far as the crowd its white and middle eastern, I think me n my girl were the only Filipinos there hahaha. Age range mid 20's to 30's definitely a more mature crowd. All in all I had a good time here on a Saturday, yeah I'll be back.

Been her a few times. Both for house music nights and hip hop. I don't like it very much. Not feeling a place where it's super hard to get in unless you're there by 10:30 sharp. Between this place and harlot..it's a toss up for door guys that are dicks to just about everyone; unless you got a few mini skirts with you (yeah, i roll with some). I do like the set-up how the tables are open and they surround the dance floor. Restrooms are clean. Overall, I just felt this place has that arrogant attitude and atmosphere. This place is too cool for school, ya heard. If friends want to hit it up, I'll go again because a place can always be made better with great company. Now if I can only rateclubs my friends with 5-stars...

If you like Spanish music then this is the spot for you. But, for all of us non spanish speakers this might not be the first choice for us. Don't get me wrong I love my Latino friends, it's just not a spot I'll go again. Not to mention the ladies were old and t he few young ladies that were there were a little too stuck up.
