Came here after an art show up the street.  Talk about hole-in-the-wall dive bar!  My gf and I almost walked right past it, trying to shake off some homeless man following us from the alley.  It was so dark and scary-ish looking from the outside, but upon entry, it turned out to be pretty cool. The bartenders are really attentive and really sweet - two females who gave us drink menus and patiently answered our questions about the concoctions.  My gf had something with bourbon, bitters, and lemon (which was delicious), and I had the absinthe/sparkling wine drink (which was too much licorice flavor than I expected).  They even had a yummy pub snack mix to temper the buzz that came all too quickly from the stiff drinks.  $7 mixed drinks with freshly squeezed juices?  Thank you, very much. You could tell many were regulars in this laid-back establishment, but we newcomers were very welcomed.  Nice, clean women's bathroom a plus.

Bubble Lounge reminds me of 98% of bad bar/lounge/club combos in New York City.  It's large, dark, and crowded.  Lots of girls with raccoon eyes and trashed guys in dark button-down shirts.  Loud music and expensive drinks.  Yaaaaaawn. Oh, and there's champagne.

I had only been here once on an overly drunken night so I didn't feel right reviewing bObs in the past. Finally I visited again on a Friday night and had a great time. The music was good- a mix of hip-hop/dance-hall/reggaetone beats had the whole crowd groovin. Drinks were fairly priced @ $10 for a very strong long island. The bartenders were friendly and the crowd was just there to dance and have fun. Once the music got a little top 40s I bounced to the next spot but for the time I was there I had a great time shakin my thang.
