by Jerry Vea on Upon entering, I noted that this is a very strange place. It is huge! [3 floors?] It's incredibly festive, like koreatown, but with Mariachis... The scene is very mixed. They were not kidding about 'salsa all night' [with a dj]. I went for salsa and the class that I took was very well-attended. The format was confusing, but everyone was very nice. The passion margarita that I had was super strong. Drinks are around $12 each.
by Lea G. on Forgot to rate this place when I was in Boston last month. Great atmosphere - top notch music. Thumbs up to the DJ that was spinning (nice mix of old skool hip hop and techno beats). We danced our a$$ off which is good because we were downing the yummy cocktails (pricey for Boston by average for SF standards). Waitstaff was very attentive - I didn't bother with messing with the bar counter...People were so cool even the wait for bathroom was enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
by Samuel Garrott on Let's see, maybe I am just not into the whole cheesy, black-light, florescent, booty-shaking, dirty-old-man vibe of places like this. Maybe having three daughters has tainted by whole perspective of the half-naked women dancing on the bar thing ;-) Then again, as a tourist it was a GREAT people watching place and in some ways a "must see" while in Miami. Still, you may want to save the cover and see if from the outside then go sit on the beach some more.
