by Pang H. on save your money or wait in line somewhere else! food - edible but NOT good & OVERpriced. portions - smaller. service - ok. decor - eh! definitely doesn't match the menu pricing. salsa - yuck. ok, so get the guacomole, that was great. eat the chips, drink a drink and leave! DETAILS: the only place with no wait on a Saturday night? now I know why! they say its 'authentic', maybe I'm way too simple but I doubt it! I should have left when the salsa wasn't right. how could anyone make bad salsa?!?!? well, world, they prove that it VERY well is possible! a 'char flavored' taste. ewww.
by Denita Scaturro on Eh... You are in a basement...it's dark, for the most part the crowd is trying way too hard to be trendy... and the music is ok. I do like some of these types of places but the music has to be really good...and I think they miss the mark... I've been there a few times and can't say i was really impressed...it's not a bad place, just not the type of place i'd say "ooooh i want to go there"...

ONE OF THE FEW PLACES THAT OFFER VALET PARKING WHICH IS A ABSOLUTE MUST IN BROOKLINE; FINDING A PARKING SPACE IN BROOKLINE IS LIKE MINING FOR DIAMONDS AT THE BLUE HILLS. A HOT BAR SCENE, THAT TENDS TO BE CROWDED ON RED SOX GAMES AND WEEKENDS AFTER 8. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SCORPION BOWL FOR TWO (THEY DON'T SKIMP ON THE BOOZE) FOR YOU NIGHT OWLS THE PARTY DOESN'T STOP AT THE GOLDEN TEMPLE UNTIL 2AM. GUEST DJ'S SPIN TOP 40, 70'S, 80'S, 90'S ON THE WEEKEND. THE MENU GOES ON AND ON LIKE A NOVEL. I GO ABOUT HALF WAY THROUGH THE MENU AND A FORGET WHAT I WANTED FROM PAGE 2. ACCURATE TAKE-OUT TIME ESTIMATE, FAST DELVERY. SERVICE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO CHANGE DISHES (MY FRIEND IS ALLERGIC TO NUTS, MILK, PORK, AND WHEAT) TO ACCOMMODATE MY NEEDS. JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING IS ORGANIC AND ALWAYS FRESH. I WOULD GO TO THE GOLDEN EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK IF I HAD THE CASH, BTW...GOOD FOOD DOES NOT COME CHEAP, THAT'S MY ONLY RIPE.
