a great alternative to ice cream with the same satisfaction. less calories if you don't add the toppings. tastes great. small facility. great for getting in and out. not a lot of seating. kids seem to love this place. the straws are cute. plan to spend $4-5 on a cup. 39 cents an oz pick your own flavors and toppings. a teenager will be there to assist you (so don't expect any over the top service. but they are nice enough.) thank goodness they don't allow everyone to sample on their own ice cream. (mouth germs, yuck!) peach and cake batter is my favorite.

Gorgeous. Chic. Sexy. Enigmatic. No, I'm not describing a woman, I'm describing Harlot. I don't frequent clubs very often anymore, but this is one that deserves a second look. And a third. Small spot with the capacity to fulfill big expectations, great expectations even. The space is decked with floor-to-ceiling Mannerism-era art. Very New York. The music is well-mixed, HOT (must love mash-ups). If you're going the bottle service route, ask for hostess with the mostest, Christy K. You can't miss the 6-foot tall statuesque beauty, not that you would try. She handles last-minute reservations with ease and anticipates blips in advance... so you never see them happen. She's a superstar, this one. She helped me with my birthday party for a 100 last year at my then loft and let me tell you... no small feat coordinating between the bartenders, DJ, catering and my guests! See you here, I'll be dancing my heart out :)

A really swell venue. Kinda has an unfinished, industrial feel to it but with the right amenities. There are 3 bars distributed on 2 floors. A nice 270 degree balcony is handy for allowing a bird's eye view of antics breaking out on the dancefloor. The backroom can be either cozy or crowded depending on the DJ vibe. Lessee, I like the mixture of people who often come out for various events. I do wish the dancefloor was a bit more expansive. Sometimes they extend the stage into it or set up a DJ booth on the floor which can wind up occupying precious dance space. I also have to say this is not the best place to get your buzz on. Their is some definite skimpiness in alcohol in the drinks, unless you make a concerted effort to buddy up to the bartenders. I like to hit the upstairs back bar which is usually less crowded, just so I can have some more interaction! Yep, solid choice for weekend events - check it out!
