Flip's concept is pretty cool. They offer gourmet, out of the ordinary burgers. It has its own lot but parking but its normally pretty tight so parking can be a pain. The decor is super cute. They have regular tables, high tops, a chef's bar and a patio area. The patio area has these awful rocking chairs that I can't understand why anyone would want to try to enjoy a meal while being seated in. The place is usually crowded but not too loud. Flip tends to change their menu quite frequently so sometimes you return and your favorites are unavailable. I'm adventurous so I don't mind but this can be annoying for some. Mostly everything that I have tasted has been tasty. They are not the best burgers that I've ever tasted, but all in all a pretty good dining experience. Milkshakes are super tasty and the service is always excellent.

If you happen to walk into Club Waziema for an Ethiopian dining experience, be ready to get back to the basics and use your hands to enjoy every little piece of that spicy lamb, chicken or veggie platter. There is no such thing as fork and spoon once you get your food but what better way to enjoy the soft, crepe-like texture of their staple bread, injera! Not to be mistaken as a napkin, the folded injera is an interesting replacement to scoop up meat and sauces. Now if you are checking out the atmosphere and expecting to find a place as you might imagine Ethiopia, you will not find that in here. This is a dive bar in the city with a jukebox by the entrance. It is a little confusing when you're trying to follow the sign on top of this establishment while matching it with the interior. I don't walk around too often in Divisadero but if I did, I might just be checking out other food items (and perhaps the honey wine!) at Club Waziema. For ten dollars, i was fueled up and ready for a Samba concert across the street. Reasonably decent. A-Ok!

Look at all these hoochies, around me every-day! Just need some time, some time to get away from........ Drinks are meh and the apps are eh. What keeps me and my friends coming here? Well me, personally, I'm looking for that hot bartender who kept us company when my friends and I first came here. After three visits, still haven't seen him, so my pursuit continues. I think my friends actually like the drinks and I admit they have quasi-cool names like Incan Gold something or other and Purple Gecko but nothing that spectacular. It's basically your typical Landsdowne Bar, replete with drunken hoes, drunken man-whores (random dude actually came up to our table last night and asked if it were wrong for him to pee in a cup on a bus or on the floor of the bus, true story, and proceeded to debate the merits of each choice). No surprises here.
