I purchased tickets via Groupon with the behind-the-scenes tour. We had our one year old with us who was not eligible to go on the tour for safety. Before we even had a chance to get discouraged or upset the tour guide contacted the manager on duty who graciously took us on a private behind-the-scenes tour to see some of the underwater sea life in small aquariums, which made us feel special. It was more than we expected and really made up for any potential disappointment as I know it would have ended up being disappointing since our expectations were set for the tour. Anyhow, thanks and keep up the good work, impeccable customer service, and professionalism!

On a good night, this place is amazing. On a bad night... um... try not to step in a dump lying on the sidewalk as you leave. This place is in the tenderloin. If you didn't want ghetto... don't club it up in the tenderloin. Bad: Party bus crowd, ghetto clubbers, dangerous area. Good: THE DJ!, Drinks, VIP. The truth about clubbing is that YOU make or break the place. I mean, sure. There can be bad experiences. But it's really how fun YOU are that makes or breaks a club in my opinion. DJ JSTYLZ ROCKS MY WORLD!

SF is certainly trendy when you compare to say, I don't know, Sacramento or Fresno, but compared to Vegas in LA, it's a different world altogether. So when you attempt to bring a watered down version of Tao, complete with Buddha statues to SF, you end up with results that are not exactly Vegas like. Sure the environment is as nice, if not nicer than any place that you'll find in SF, or even LA for that matter (just check out the pictures), the crowd is as good looking as anywhere, the decor and lighting are top notch, there are lovely comfy couches that even non-VIP people can enjoy, and the DJs are probably pretty expensive too, but it just doesn't gel very well. And on this particular night that I went, the crowd seemed to agree. There were probably no more than a handful of people who were really dancing, probably the result of having had one too many of the watered down expensive drinks (definite cue from Vegas here). Music is mostly (read: all) house, trance, and all that, so think of it as Ruby Skye on steroids. There's a reason why things in Vegas should stay in Vegas, it just doesn't belong out here.
