by Jeff Mahfouz on Well, our first stay there at the Roosevelt and we found our room to be small, with the room's amenities to be few, the bar/restaurant was pricey and the entire hotel was crowed, almost the entire time. But not like those were bad things. In fact we had a great stay. Sure, the room was small with few amenities, but that's because it was a cabana room overlooking the pool. Yeah, and I guess the service was pricey, but it was also top rate. Anyone who's been around can tell you that good service isn't cheap, and some may argue if it's really good, even "pricey" is well worth it. And while it was crowded, it was because the it more or less orchestrated by the young and trendy pool party crowd from day to night. Which was quite a refreshing change from the usual out of state, overweight, Midwest tourists and their girthy, obnoxious children running around amped up on high sugar, corn syrup substitutes. Again, bad things aren't always bad. Especially, when you realize they could be a whole lot worse.
by Lindsey Camors on Not a bad hotel at all. The ambiance is pleasant and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel overall, including the rooms, is nicely decorated. Will stay here again.
