I really like this place! Granted, I live SW, but it's worth the drive! The first time I went here it was to go salsa dancing. It's very classy and pretty inside. The wall with the falling water is awesome! They have a dress code after a certain time in the evening (but I would feel out of place going there dressed casually anyway!). I thoroughly enjoyed the salsa dancing at this place. The crowd is great....more sophisticated!...you won't find any "cholos" here (that's Spanish for gang-bangers). I had the most amazing, but dangerous drink too...it's called the "meltdown". I HIGHLY recommend it, but only get 1, otherwise you will be a little messed up (trust me on this one!). The bar staff is awesome....nice and fast! I went back to Gloria's for a dinner and really liked the food. This is one place that I will definitely go back to!

My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here for dinner...the thought was nice, but we were both disappointed. Maybe our expectations were too high. First of all, we were both dressed up pretty nicely, and everyone around us was wearing Tshirts and shorts. We had reservations and I think it was obvious that it was a special occasion for us, but they seated us RIGHT NEXT to a very loud party of four. Luckily they didn't stay long, because I could feel the mood dying quickly. So the guacamole comes along, and we ask for ours spicy. It was good, but it was definitely lacking in the spicy department. The rest of the food was mediocre and so was the pomegranate margarita, in my opinion. Everything was overpriced. I think this would be an OK place to go with friends, except for the price, but it's definitely not a date spot and definitely not as nice/upscale as they would have you believe.
