by gaby p. on Just like a vegas nightclub..loved the outdoor pool and patio.I like almost everything about this club and the crowd was surprisingly nice,fun and friendly..maybe because most were asian? i dunno.If you are not into asian guy either don't come here or bring a guy friend like i did! :) What sucked was the dj.He must have A.D.D. or something was off w him ..he just couldn't stick to one good song and let it play he just kept changing the song every 30 seconds!
by Linwood Nero on Talk about stiff ones - this place always manages to get me tanked. We've found it tends to be haven for the older gentlemenly crowd that doesn't want to wander over into Castro - which always results in great conversation and interesting karaoke moments. In going here both times with a regular of Martuni's, I find the staff is always extremely friendly and engaging with us. I must say really a place for those who know how to handle a good drink.
by Steve N. on I went here for a Blended Event on July 3rd. DJ Rocky Rock was spinning and Roscoe Umali was performing. There are multiple parking lots, don't pay attention to the Mexican flag guys who are saying "Mayan, Mayan, Mayan" but sounds like "Fire, fire, fire". The first two lots were $10, then there's the next lot which is $8, just read the signs, I got lured by the flags. Drank in the parking lot for a bit, then headed on in. The club itself has a main dance floor, which is pretty big, basically two dance floors in one. There's a main bar and a bar near the DJ booth. Then there's the upstairs room, which is playing hip hop and which is where the bathroom, can't really dance in the upstairs because it's so damn small. Sucha a bitch to walk up those stairs, I'm not a fan of clubs with stairs because I have this fear of falling down them while I'm drunk. Two outdoor areas to smoke at and hang out in. The club itself really isn't that nice, kinda ghetto if you ask me. Drinks here are strong, I only had one drink the entire night, I hadda keep baby sitting it and taking small sips. It was literally all liquor and a tiny amount of sweet n sour and blue curacao. The club finally picked up at around 11:30pm-12:00am, got pretty crackin, lotta people. Not a huge fan of the venue though, I'd rather go to other Hollywood/LA clubs.
