by Eusebio Wignall on Columbus 72 is a good place to go if you're going with a pretty nice sized group of your own people and/or have no intentions of finding someone hot to take home with you (for the females)- guys are usually in the clear girls seem to generally be pretty hot, sometimes sloppy drunk, but hot nonetheless. The crowd is super mixed so you'll see people ages 21-61 (I think I once saw someone one breath away from kicking the bucket)- and latinos, blacks, whites, asians, middle eastern etc. If you're just looking to dance and dont really care much who you're dancing with it's cool- drinks are averaged priced for the city (like 10 for a mixed drink- and they don't have red bull booooo). Guys better wear collared shirts and no tims/boots (even if you're dressed nice/trendy), because some of the bouncers are super jerks( especially the light skinned bald guy- my boyfriend didn't want me to add this part in, but ITS TRUE!)... I always have a good time b/c I just want to dance- just depends what you're looking for...

This club is huge but I wish it had better ventilation however, the smoke from the stage blowing out to the crowd from time to time was a little refreshing since it sent a cool breeze. I did not but I so wanted to get a hot dog or sausage by the smoke out area. All that dancing made me lose a pound and a half. Hell-yes!
by Stacy Meeske on I enjoyed my time in Hiro.. the venue is somewhere asian. place is big so you don't feel you are getting pushed everywhere. Drinks are pretty standard. second floor has a bar and tables too. Overall the place was nice and music was good. Make sure you get there early otherwise might be a long line
