by Jenny T. on I went to this club with a couple of my friends 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night and I would say I had a blast there. The people there was friendly especially the bartender. We kept on asking him for a glass of ice water and he even did a show on the back of our hands. Nice! I'm a fan of this place and I would recommend this to people that I know! Good memory there!~
by Jerome Bertolini on Overrated, as I tend to think most clubs are -- but we wanted to do one Miami club for our visit from NY. I know experiences vary from night to night, but I tend to take design/decor into account a lot and I wasn't that impressed. A $-15-20 cover (I forget) even with the "promoter discount" on a Sunday night wasn't *all that,* nor was our long wait to get in. We also didn't care for the pricey weak drinks. We were also peeved when we discovered that we weren't allowed into the whole roped-off center section of the main floor. The music was just ok, with the occasional good song thrown in. The highlight of our night at Mansion ended up being less than 5 feet away when Michael Jordan himself arrived at the club. Mansion sucked, but it was cool to see MJ in the flesh.
by Alee L. on This is a cool place to go. I only had drinks there late at night but I loved the atmosphere. Not a fancy place and their customers are very laid back. I didn't eat there but I heard that food there is pretty decent; maybe I will give a try next time. Man...this place is sooooooooooooooo old. The building was built in 1817. It is also know as "The green door". Some people say the place is haunted.Boo!!! Restrooms are ridiculously small. It's nice that they are not afraid of reviews. If you go tho their website they have a link of lots of websites that review their place, like rateclubs (which make me like them better!) What else do you need?? Go there! Anyway...It's a landmark!!!
