I went to this place for the first time this past weekend, on a Friday night, and from reading all the reviews here I wasn't sure what to expect. Some people really liked the place and others really disliked it. So I went with an open mind. I have to say that I am now one of those people that really likes this place. The atmosphere, the crowd, the music (mostly 80's), the bar, and the burlesque shows are all great. The only thing it lacks is the space, but everything else makes up for it. As far as the performers being over-weight, that wasn't the case when I was there. Maybe there are different performers on different days, but this past Friday they were hot!! Overall it was a great night out! Definitely going there again!

So are you a trendy pop collar wearing trust fund baby who girls love to talk to but they look at you more like you are their gay friend? Well then you have found your place!!! This place has been a very big disappointment. I agree with the issues people have had here with the security. Having worked in that business myself I can relate but not at the level these guys take it to. I also found most of the other staff to be extremely rude as well. Also the DJ was horrible and the music a bit too loud. Their website does a great job of making this place seem like something it is not. This is not a lounge...it is a full on nightclub. If you want to sit somewhere you better have bottle service or know the people who do. Now as for the crowd, there were a lot of good looking people but not a place to meet new people if that is what you are out for. If it was not for the fact i was there for a b-day party with bottle service, and did not have to pay cover the last few times to get in, I would give it one star. There are better places out there for sure, but no matter what others say or how crappy the staff or music, people will still continue to go there.

I've gone here several times and have always enjoyed myself. Huge TV's at the bar to watch every game, fully stocked bar (they have my chopin, yay!) and pool tables in the back make this an ideal place for happy hour. They have the restaurant section for seated dining and the bar section. I prefer sitting at the bar or in one of the booths and just order bar food. The food is hit or miss, I can have really good calamari one night then the next it sucks. The chicken wings with wasabi sauce it the bomb! The prices are a little pricey but it is downtown SF. The service is fast and on point. The crowd is a good mix of business peeps, locals and some tourists. A great place for happy hour since everything you'd need and want is one place with enough room to move around.
