by James H. on I cant speak on the food.. but as far as the clubbing/dancing part.. this place is hit or miss and it all depends on the night you go. This is the place you wanna go if you have friends visiting NYC for their first time and are strapped on cash. I personally like the place (on saturdays) because its not a sausage fest, its free to get in, and its low key. Oh yeah, dress code is casual, but no sneakers.
by Sushma M. on Simply my fave bar! part because the love of my life [sorry for being dramatic] and i made it offical here and part because it was one of the best time for a friends birthday i've ever had. It was a surprise party for her, and her boyfriend planned for all her friends to gather downstairs in the private room where open bar is 30 bucks and wait for her arrival. She was super psyched and the rest of the night was history. Definitely think it's a great place to hang out with a couple of good friends for a good night out!
by Zulema Hinds on I had an event at Tongue & Groove recently, and it was easily one of the best events we've had. The entire staff was helpful and nice, going out of their way to help us. I LOVED the decor, and all of our attendees had a blast, saying they'd gladly go back. Definitely a great place for a private event!
