Sadly I don't remember the night I was here. It was a Saturday, and I pregamed in the car. Patron. I will recap on what I DO remember (the first half hour I stepped into the club). 2 double shot vodka with redbull = 44 bucks. =/ Overkill. The main floor wasn't cracking so i went downstairs to look for my fellow friends and I remember it being extremely humid, hot, crowded, and smoky. That's when I lost all memories of the night. It was unfortunate that someone overdosed that night, and a couple kids got stabbed outside the property but I'm not gonna rate the club on events they had no control of. Luckily I got kicked out that night before the lockdown happened. Haha. I will be back to review it a second time. Hopefully I won't black out this time. My friends said I had a great time though. Hahaha

What a great night, I had my birthday party there and more people turned out then what i had made the reservation for, the staff was so nice and moved us all to a different table where we all fit comfortably. The margaritas were Delicious, we got the seafood appetizer which was great and for dinner i got the salmon, it was so good. me and my friends were passing our plates to each other and everything tasted excellent. our waiter was really patient with my crazy friends and the manager came by a few times to make sure everything was perfect. After dinner we all went to the back patio and danced to a great DJ all night till closing. I love the velvet Margarita!

First impressions is enough to make a lasting impression and based on my first experience of ROE I will have to give them a negative review. Initially, my sister and I were really excited about celebrating our birthday at ROE. We had high expectations; after all the venue seems really nice based on the pictures on the website and they had a good DJ lined up for the night. To top this off Roe is wheel chair accessible. This is as far as the positives go for this venue. The negatives: 1). Website does not tell you the dress code. 2). Someone from my party was not allowed in because of his shoes. I can understand that clubs are typically picky about the type of shoes people wear. However, someone else from my party, who by the way wore the same exact shoe was allowed in. I don't know what that was about. I guess they don't like white laces. 3). My other friend who was really dressed up (light pink dress shirt with a black tie and true religion jeans with a dark wash) was not allowed in. After this point I was getting pissed. He was not allowed in because his jeans were too "baggy". True religions, for the most part, are not even baggy. These bouncers need to get off of their power trip and relax. 4). In addition, bouncers trip when someone tries to supposedly cut in line. Someone tried saying happy birthday to me and the bouncer told them to get in the back of the line. Its understandable when clubs try to regulate the lines, but being rude is unnecessary especially if people are not even trying to cut. When I tried explaining to them that they were just saying happy birthday, the bouncer told me "What you want to go to the end of the line? Go to the end! Get out of the line. What, I thought so?" Omg, I could not believe it!!!! 5). Employees (bouncers) are extremely rude. I think these bouncers were just PMSing. 6). $20 cover is too much for an uptight club Based on these initial experiences, we did not end up staying. Its not worth going to a place that is extremely strict and very unprofessional. It was not like any of us were drunk. We were not being obnoxious nor were we under dressed, my sister and I made sure of that. When the bouncers realized that there were 30+ of us leaving, they went up to me and stopped me. They informed me that if my party still wanted to go in that we could. I was shocked. Of course we did not stay. We went to 111 Minna down the street which was a lot better!!! Over all I do not recommend this place. I think this place is too anal. They have rude ignorant bouncers who don't' know what they are talking about. They are hypocrites for not putting up their dress code on their website and they were kicking out people who did not deserve to get kicked out. I'm glad that this place lost business from my party. The club needs to remember that first impression counts!
