by J H. on SO good! The fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Almost made me wish I liked mayonnaise, just so I could try the whole package. The chicken quesadilla was fabulous. More of a chimichanga than a quesadilla though, and the outside is crispy. Extremely fast service, and the guy behind the counter was so friendly. We got our entire order in less than five minutes. A little pricey, but it was worth it.
by Jill B. on A friend of mine lured me there as a surprise. Anyway, we sat in the garden, which was stunning. I had a couple of drinks, the tuna tartar and a beet salad. I meant to order the pizza to share with one of my friends, but we both thought the other was going to order it. No big deal. I was simply happy to be where I was. I loved our waitress who was just lovely. We had more than one wait person because I think one person was training. Anyway, I loved the vibe, the food, and the service. The environment was not oppressive, which I always appreciate. You can tell that the people who work there are treated well. So, what more do you need? Good food, nice staff, fair prices (would have been cheap, actually, if I had not ordered liquor), and utterly gorgeous atmosphere.
by Marc Kreeger on Here are a list of things that I have done at Buffalo Billiard's that were firsts: Played Indiana Jones pinball with Quani while espousing my opinion on the upcoming New Indy movie. Told 4 different British people that I was really glad that they came all the way from England to see me, even though they had not. Found out a friend was getting married. Played shuffle board as an Austinite. Won a no-limit poker tournament of more than 25 people (there were 76). Walked right up to Chuck D. after he gave an interview to 101.X during SXSW, shook his hand and greeted him, in my most pompous British Accent, as "Charles". Now, which one of those things wasn't true? Regardless of which it is, I always have fun here, and never think to go unless it's someone else's idea. I wonder why that is?
