by Jazmin Schleisman on Velour is awesome. I have been there many times and I plan on being there for New Years tonight as well. The music is good, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is great. The staff are awesome and if you take care of the bartenders they will take care of you. Nothing but good things to say about this establishment.
by Leonia Depetro on This is my second and final terrible food experience at Six Feet Under Grant Park. The oysters were pathetically small. Really small. Several had the diameter of a quarter...$12 for this? The cole slaw tasted funny. Too much mayo, and some sort of mystery flavor. Just plain terrible. Too bad the slaw was brought out to replace the soggy chips. That's three strikes in one sitting. As for the combo tacos. Scallops, catfish, and calimari. Catfish was excellent. Everything else was eh...fried to sogginess. Not much flavor. Not worth the wait, not satisfied, not going back.
