by Andrea K. on Kinda small place - I went to the line and they asked me to pay - I asked for the manager - JD and he's a cute Chinese guy with braces and asked me how old I was and where I was from. Told him and bingo, he let me in. Also he gave me a ticket for a drink. I bought a $8 martini, tipped the female bartender $2. The dancing was dead in the beginning.... matter of fact, they didn't start spinning until 11!! Neighborhood club around the corner from some ghetto place called Heights.
by Sushma M. on Simply my fave bar! part because the love of my life [sorry for being dramatic] and i made it offical here and part because it was one of the best time for a friends birthday i've ever had. It was a surprise party for her, and her boyfriend planned for all her friends to gather downstairs in the private room where open bar is 30 bucks and wait for her arrival. She was super psyched and the rest of the night was history. Definitely think it's a great place to hang out with a couple of good friends for a good night out!
by Ellen Burgbacher on I worked here back in '03-'04 so I can safely say that I hated it then and I still hate it now. I had to clean up harvard snob's puke on the floor at 3am. Not only just mopping it, but going to the depths of the bar to put that wooded sawdust stuff to cover it and sweep it up...EW. *barf* I also had to sell nasty looking shots in the "comedy club/dance club" that they call the 3rd floor. Sure, everyone loves the scorpion bowls, but they don't wash them out between uses...yucky...so in theory it's like ur sucking on everyone's mouth juice. EW. plus, the haaahvard students are cheap tippers. but the chinese people downstairs are totally cool! and i'm not saying that because i'm chinese. I had to haul up food from the kitchen up some rickety stairs to the bar, and they always had a smile on their face...
