by Aumatma S. on Recently, NSB had a east bay "Family Vibes" night. What a disappointment! They promised reggae, latin, funk and more in addition to bhangra. But, the entire night had 3 reggae songs and some hip-hop like songs. And... I don't know if it's exactly true but I from what I saw, the reggae DJ was not getting treated too well by the punjabi guys. Sad. So sad. NSB, I expected more.
by Adam G. on "I'm the king of the world on a boat like Leo, If your on the shore then your sure not me-o" This place has quickly become my favorite day drinking/ happy hour spot. The food is good, the drinks are not too expensive and you get to get a tan/ watch the sun set on the Hudson. Also if you go, I recommend getting a table upstairs on the larger boat towards the water, and also recommend checking out the inside of the smaller boat (its creepy but awesome). You really can not go wrong with this place (weather permitting)
by Porfirio Rimbach on This place is fantastic! Went here (Pier Sixty, that is) for a company dinner, and WOW, they pulled out all the stops! Everything from the cocktail hour to the reception after...any and every detail was looked after. I don't know much about the sports center here, but I love the Sky Rink! I'm actually thinking about taking up skating lessons here (i'm not going to even think about how expensive that'll be). Loses a star because this place is just plain ole' far...not near a damn subway, taxis are seldom, just an odd but beautiful location. Oh well...
