NYC is known for it's food, shopping, the experience really. But I presume you would want the topnotch of the Empire State. When you have a craving for delicious asian/asian inspired food, look no further than Tao. I honestly could have walked by it and not have given it the time of day, but as you enter your thoughts are quickly changed. The waiting room was really packed, some people waited quite a bit of time. It was seriously worth it, though. Appetizers were amazing, I would recommend the Salmon Tar tare and the Velvety Corn Soup. Just pulling a pun here, it was "souper". Sorry. For the entree, I got a recommendation from the waiter (very outgoing) he told me to try the Chilean Sea Bass. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was really a winner at my table. For desert, I think you should go with the mochi sampler. Just think, DELICIOUS ice cream wrapped in a DELICIOUS rice flour dough. It really gets no better. The decor and the entire vibe screams New York. Also, don't forget to say hello to the giant Buddha sculpture. Happy eating!

I will start with this disclaimer, my bf and I had our first date here last year at the beginning of Fall when the weather was still nice and we could enjoy the breeze outside on the balcony and the stars in the sky. So....I may be a little dreamy about it but I've gone a number of times since. The first time I tried a drink called "Bubble bath" and fell in love! It's a champagne and fruity-citrusy flavored concoction. I fell into strip again last New Year's Eve when my bf and I couldn't get into Twelve for a party he'd bought tickets for (another story). We arrived at STRIP minutes before the New Year and were admitted at a discount, given drink tickets and had cocktails in hand as soon as the count down started! We were even able to snag two seats on the upper level and dance and drink the new year in. Another time, my girls and I were in town for a weekend of fun and I had to drag them here. We're all from Chicago and like fly enviornments without a lot of pretentiousness. This is the perfect place to eat, drink and dance a little without long lines or steep conver charges. The hosts, waitstaff and bartenders are all friendly too. I tried the california rolls and they were awesome! This is the only "sushi" I eat so I know a good california roll. I also had a lobster burger, which I'd never had before and it was decadent. My friends and I tried a few other drinks including my "Bubble bath" and we were thoroughly satisfied and buzzed. :-) Each time I've gone the service was fast and friendly and the food and drinks were good. Two thumbs up STRIP!

I loved Mamajuana's cafe!!!! I went yesterday with 2 girlfriend expecting an early evening of tapas and drinks and we stayed there for more than 5 hours. We had an amazing time. The food was delicious, we started with a big platter of tapas that had the "maduro" stuffed with cod fish, crab and manchego croquetes, beef, shrimp and chicken pinchos. empanadas, calamari and everything was delicious!!! Then we each had a main course I had teh seafood stuffed red snapper with yuca mash and my friends has chicken and beef dishes which I assure you they were great!! We finished with a platter of dessert I fell in love with the ginger lemongrass creme brulee but everything was amazing!! Sangria awesome and service outstanding. A big thank you to Chef Felix and to our waiter Anthony!! i will definitely go back!!!
