by Dannie Ogilvie on Velour is awesome. I have been there many times and I plan on being there for New Years tonight as well. The music is good, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is great. The staff are awesome and if you take care of the bartenders they will take care of you. Nothing but good things to say about this establishment.
by Trevor Orlof on Kress has the potential to be a fun place to have a good time... but it is doing something wrong to be drawing a ghetto-fab crowd. If that's what they're aiming for, then I'd say they're doing great! Unattractive people getting nasty in my personal space is just not my scene. I would've given them 1 star, but since the guy at the door was nice and gave me a VIP wristband b/c I was "cute", that warrants a mini rating boost.
by W M. on You can always count on Ear Inn for decent food and a good atmosphere. If you try anything, the chili is a must. For the value you receive, it cannot be beat! The food is good, not great, but worth every penny! I will definitely return to this place. The live music helps the overall atmosphere. The servers are nice and the service is good.
