by samantha m. on I don't love Vertigo, for a few reasons. 1. My closet is bigger than that dance floor. 2. The bathroom situation, there is only one toilet for the 30 girls waiting in line who have all broken the seal...oooh no...I dont think so! Not that I'll never go here again, it just kinda sucks...reminds me of a bootleg Holy Cow...just sayin.

by Sharilyn Nork on Earwax is a three star record shop with two extra stars on top. One for actually being a "Record Shop" as in vinyl LP's, and the second for being locally owned. The selection is mostly older Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, and thrift-store quality "Wham!" LP's with some excellent jazz selections, as well as a ton of just released 12". The dialog between the staff is passionate and worth the visit alone. Parking is right past the shop on the left and they keep odd hours so call ahead to make sure you can pick up that new M.I.A 12"
