by Lanette Faherty on I was recommended that this place is the new hot spot for a Tuesday night. Acting on that information, I rolled up with 2 friends (1 girl and 1 guy). The bouncer wanted to get paid off $100 just for letting the 2 guys into the place. After contemplating we decided that we were gonna pay the guy (LT the front door man) off. For some reason, being intoxicated there was a midget cop that decided to harass me when I offered to pay the bouncer (LT) off. Anyways, I don't care about the midget cop, or the front door man LT. We decided to bounce since LT (the door man) decided to scream at our lady company to the point that she cried. To L.T. the door man - You made my friend ( a girl ) cry by screaming at her. The the cop - which I don't know his name. I can imagine it sucks living in envy and jealousy watching all these hot young people go in clubs/bar/lounges get smashed and have a good time. But that doesn't give you the right to abuse your power to harass the public (in this case me). I'd give this place a negative start if it was possible.
by calvin c. on I've been going to this place since I moved back to la... So for about 3 years now. When I started going Fridays were live band night, and the crowd was like 50% caucasian, 20% asian, and 30% everyone else. The past year however.... it is now officially 95% asian, 5% everyone else. Just thought that was an interesting trend. But at least with the huge asian crowd they play a lot more electro, house, trance haha. The bouncers are great, the staff is really nice, and their bartenders are unique and full of personality. Considering the prices of other hollywood places, this place is great. The prices are legit and the drinks are strong. They have guestlist which gets you in free before 11? Parking is pretty easy in the lot behind the place. I live like a mile away so I am usually there...... Friday.... and Saturday...every week... :) Afterwards you can go ahead and get the dirty dogs or walk 2 blocks down to EL CHATO! I'm usually there too... friday.. and saturdays... What can I say, I like a stable schedule.
