BOOOOOOOOOOO to Yoshis!! The venue is nice and I was really happy to see the PFUNK in such a small place...BUT I have never experienced a venue regulating on pot smokers in the crowd. People were thrown out for smokin. and 2 minutes later George and all them were smokin on stage. And then EVERYone there started smokin after they played "somethin stank and i want some". They (Yoshi's) came a took my $h!t. I COULD NOT BELEIVE IT. They weren't even nice about it. I FELT DISCRIMENTATED AGAINST BY YOSHI'S BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS SMOKIN, BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY SINGLED ME OUT!!!!! racial profiling RACISTS!!!!! ...At a PFUNK show, they took my $h!t. All I can say is they need to get with the times and stop doing stuff like or they will never be a noteworthy club, just a small jazz club....that regulates weed smokers....Who have medical cards.....Using a vaporizer.....In San Francisco...with George Clinton on stage...Seriously who runs that place, a retarded crack head?

The Happy Hour here is great. We always sit outside, inside is a little dim and can get loud if its crowded. Its expensive here (for me at least) unless you go from 5-7, when pizza is half off and drinks are $1 less. The pizza isn't amazing but its pretty good if you're a thin crust fan.

This place is definitely a dining experience, an experience dependent on the incredible decor. This place has more of the feeling of a high-end club than a restaurant, with exposed brick, impossible three-story high ceilings and a 16 foot statue as a centerpiece. Interestingly enough, there are also lots of women decked out as though they are at a club, maybe women intending to visit one later in the night. The food was hit or miss, never bad, but oscillating between amazing and very good. On the amazing list: Shabu-Shabu (your choice of Kobe or filet mignon),and the sea bass (in both appetizer and entree forms perfect in taste and texture). Everything else we had was great, the peking duck was well-presented and well-cooked, the sashimi was good if the presentation was a little boring, and the chicken sate was also well done. I had to run out before dessert, but what I saw go by looked great.
