I might have rated this too high but then I think it's well deserved. I had to factor in the no wait in line but that probably have to do with us being 5 girls and 3 guys. Hey, no fuss at the door is fine with me. Our cover was $10 (for guys and girls) which I thought I was "ok" but definitely would not have been cool with $20. This was a Saturday btw around 11ish. Nice big open space imo. They cleaned up the drinks left on top of the black boxes dancers are on every half an hr or so. I had plenty of room to dance. It was just the right amount of crowd, not empty but not crowded! The guys were aggressive though but I'm single so it doesn't bother me hahahah. I just chit chat for a bit and walk away if not interested. Also, there was no line in the woman's restroom. I think I just went on a good weekend!

I dont really think I can give eleven a fair review since I have only been here once, but I will say this If I were a young gay man this would be the place to be. Wow there were so many good looking guys here on Friday night. And the place was packed, we were practically sardene packed into here. Im glad I wasnt drinking that night because I would not of wanted to make my way to the bar. but ya, all men and they were pretty hot. oh except for the go-go dancer, he wasnt so cute in my opinion.

My ex-boyfriend just moved to SF a couple of blocks away from Abbey Tavern, and it is hands down our favorite neighborhood bar. We celebrated his birthday here on a Friday night with a couple of friends, thinking it was going to be a chill night, but the bar ended up being super-crowded and the dj was spinning such good music that we stayed until closing time (and well past being three-sheets).
