by Exie Stanely on after the hummus (mandatory, don't miss) It's basically Israeli tapas after that... which is a very good thing. Most in this country are used to Jewish deli type over-sized portions, this takes the opposite approach, using fresh ingredients and smaller portions. I enjoyed my meal here quite a bit, with highlights including the Turkish hummus (warm with butter and garlic, amazing), the roast pumpkin entree and an excellent brined eggplant entrée. Fresh mint tea and baklava rounded out the meal. Great service, Would definitely go back.
by Sharonda Dalmida on Visited two weeks ago on a Saturday. Walked right in, didn't have to wait on line. From my understanding the door is strict. I usually don't have a problem getting into these "velvet" rope type places. I was told by a promoter friend it is because I'm tall and that is what's "in" style with these places Honestly, how pathetic. Once inside, I did notice the majority of the gals were either pseudo faux model types or an average gal like me who happens to be tall. There was also the greasy middle aged men with a sprinkle of uptown meet downtown hipster types. Not completely hipster, but not totally uptown. The music was pretty darn good, but overall wasn't impressed by the crowd. Didn't seem like a place to come to for a few drinks and dance as everyone was paired off at a table with bottle service. Almost felt like we invaded someone's house party. I would try this place again, but surely it won't be on a Saturday night. Didn't like the vibe nor the Saturday night crowd.
by Dieter K. on Jeez, fantastic food and service! If it's this good after just opening, this place is sure to please just about everyone in the future. I'd go back just for the garlic bread and a dirty martini.
