by Genese S. on Such a great atmosphere! The old power plant building... perfect conversation piece. The bartenders are super attentive and the drinks are great! You pay for what you get...great tasting drinks that have the right amount of alcohol! Get there early as the place does fill up fast. Great for large groups or just a couple out to have fun!! NO COVER CHARGE...best part :o)
by Teri Galas on This place is definitely a dining experience, an experience dependent on the incredible decor. This place has more of the feeling of a high-end club than a restaurant, with exposed brick, impossible three-story high ceilings and a 16 foot statue as a centerpiece. Interestingly enough, there are also lots of women decked out as though they are at a club, maybe women intending to visit one later in the night. The food was hit or miss, never bad, but oscillating between amazing and very good. On the amazing list: Shabu-Shabu (your choice of Kobe or filet mignon),and the sea bass (in both appetizer and entree forms perfect in taste and texture). Everything else we had was great, the peking duck was well-presented and well-cooked, the sashimi was good if the presentation was a little boring, and the chicken sate was also well done. I had to run out before dessert, but what I saw go by looked great.
by Bruce A. on This is an impressive venue. Pick a date on the schedule and go! Wonder around this two story hall and discover all of the beautiful viewing angles. You and your friends can call this place home when your favorite bands come to the city. I recently saw Joshua Radin and the Cary Brothers from the Hotel Cafe tour. The acoustic performance and the warm setting brought on a unique flavor to their music that cannot be experienced anywhere else. Depending on the size of the audience you maybe standing for most of the night.
