$2 Wells $1 Pabst $2 Wells $1 Pabst Somehow I ended up staying there for 5 hours. It happens a lot. Fresh tacos and donuts being cooked up on the back patio. Free popcorn? A jukebox (that takes forever to play your song even when no one is around)? It's too great.

$20 cover.. whatever, fine. Halloween night and the place is empty...  They didn't even open up the main dance floor because the bouncer told me there weren't enough people so we're all bunched up next to the bar with barely any room to dance, let alone walk. Music was decent, drinks were expensive and not really strong enough, too many sleazy guys hanging around (which isn't Infusion's fault). Ha, a guy grabbed my arm and told me he loved me.. desperate much? Co-ed bathrooms? Eh, not enough guys with good aim, no thanks. Left after about an hour. Overrated.

I want to give this place 3.5 stars... First of all, whoever has this place listed as a lounge is a maniac. I went ahead and changed it to Dance Club, which is far more appropriate. I came thru this spot on Friday night, and it was quite an interesting evening! So we showed up "with the band," a little group by the name of 'Lights Over Paris'. Having said that, it was still a bit of a hastle to get passed the door. The door guy asked us all for our IDs, then they had another guy stamping people's wrists to get comped admission (I don't know how much it costs to get in obviously, I think I've made it quite clear in my previous reviews i don't do cover charges), which seems easy enough but then there was yet ANOTHER guy who was making sure the IDs were real? What was the job of the first guy scanning my ID then?! Oh well. We finally fly the door, and get inside. This place has a sweet decor, like real nice. First of all, if you've been to Nikki Beach in other places don't come in here expecting this place to be like that, it's the big city version of Nikki Beach. The tables/bar have a beachy feel, wood finish complete with sun umbrellas. All the staff are wearing white (except for the bouncers and waitresses i believe) like you're at a beach place. There's a huge runway that was completely full with dancing people. Surrounding this runway are tables as far as the eyes can see. Good sizes too. To your right as you walk in the dancefloor area are the roped off tables, and too your left are the ones that aren't roped off. Down in the back is another roped off area. I've been told that particular part stays reserved for parties buying a 5 bottle minimum. Well excuseeee me... The DJ booth is off to the left of the runway, next to the roped off tables, and the DJ was doing a good job of playing techno. I'm not a big techno guy, but I would guess you would have to be to really enjoy this place. The vibe in the club is awesome though, everyone is there to party. There was no one in that place who wasn't dancing or atleast trying to dance (it was really packed in there!). The violinist stood up on the table next to ours and played along to a song, I thought she was cool. I've noticed she's gotten some mixed reviews on here. My only problem with the decor was the lack of light. There is literally only ONE club light on the whole main floor. So as nice as the place is, it's kind of hard to see it! It's a problem really that can be fixed by just putting up one extra light. Seems easy enough. It was really packed though, like REALLY packed. I can't really talk about the drink prices but I would guess a nice club in midtown is gonna be expensive, which everyone else said was the case. What is really awesome though, is the upstairs lounge area. It is right off to the right as you walk in, just after the bar, just before you get to the main club part. Head up some stairs and you are in a much smaller area, but with room to dance as well. A nice sized table and a couple other smaller ones are there. And the upstairs part has it's own DJ (who was spinning less techno and more 90s rap and stuff, that I like) and bar. So I would guess there would be no reason to go downstairs, that is unless the upstairs doesn't have a bathroom, I wouldn't know. Hopefully if I go back anytime soon I will get to chill upstairs, then I can update this thing. Maybe, if our table were upstairs, this place would be a solid 4 star joint, but right now it's a 3.5....
