by Kim l. on After Bottega we drove a few miles down to Vault to continue the celebration. This lounge is in the middle of Lil Tokyo. The interior is modernly decorated. There was a dj spinning some good music. The bday boy reserved a portion of the tables in a corner for us to chill at. There was a little dance floor, big enough to get your groove on.
by Kev H. on This is a great venue for live shows. The parking is not too bad in terms of availability. The area is sketchy though, so don't leave anything valuable in the car. Anyways, the venue looks nice inside. The interior is nicely decorated to give an early 90's feel. It has seated viewing from the balconies held by thick columns. The walls, ceiling, and railings had intricate details. When I stepped into the venue, it felt like I traveled back in time. It is a medium sized venue. Not too small, not too big. As for the sound quality, from standing on the floor in the front of the stage, the vocals are not really clear. The highs aren't good at all.
by Raphael Contrerras on Friday Nite Salsa at Jillians. This rating is for the salsa dancing on Friday nites only. I have not have the food or the drinks but the salsa scene is great!! Not too crowded....great dancers. Many of the salsa dancers here are pro's and perform in groups. I will definetly go back and dance some more..the floor is great. The down side it the 15$ cover for the band ...but that is typical I guess. The band was really good though.
by SF A. on When I first came here I thought the place was a dump and the sound system was terrible. This was years ago. Since then the place has undergone a much needed face lift including a new sound system. I came here last Saturday for a party and fundraiser for Love Fest and had a great time. The sound system in the front room is fantastic except for a few resonant low frequencies when the music gets really loud. The bar area is clean and modern looking now and the lighting and overhead hanging video screens that you can see from both sides is a great touch. My only gripe for this place is that the small back room could use some decor, mood lighting, and a better sound system and the front room could use some bass traps and maybe active resonance cancellation (a minor annoyance) but otherwise the venue is wonderful. Great beats, drinks, and vibes were enjoyed by all. See you at Love Fest!
