by Christian I. on The END UP is a place where I get to enjoy myself dancing the night away, but it is also a place where I can chill out in the nice back patio sipping a my drink. GhettoDisco is hands down my favorite night (Fridays) because everybody is welcome to the dance floor and the music rocks. One can enjoy such a variety of music styles that I have not seen anywhere else in the city. To sum it up: the End UP is always a good choice to enjoy your night and on Friday night GhettoDisco party is a mast be :- ))
by Alan S. on Came here on a Sunday night and they a decent crowd on hand. I gotta admit this is one very class place. Someone wrote a review on the elevator and they weren't joking. haha It's tiny but thats good if you're on a date. Speaking of dates. I think my 50 first dates would be here. I love the furniture, the decorations and the view you get from the third floor. Pretty romantic setting if you ask me but unfortunately I was with my entourage. Hopefully I can visit NYC sometime again in the near future and witness the dancing that supposedly happens. I'm not sure how that would work especially if you're caught in the elevator.
by Lionel Darrah on Weak ass drinks in a plastic cup... enough said... the scene is indie punk rock.. cover charge was 10.00 for everyone.. was it worth it? Not to me. The venue is tiny, full of people who still want to be indie kid cool.. but you know they hold a full time job for the man... and Friday night they grab their printed t's . checkered Vans, and pretend to be teenagers without a care in the world.. for a 10 buck cover charge. The drinks were sadly made, I can make better drinks.. the bartender was this emasculated thin geek with dark rim glasses.. who didn't look like he wanted to bar tend, but probably worked there to be a cool kid and listen to indie rock bands who wear band outfits as their gig costume.. this place is so not for me... but hey different strokes for different folks.
