Solid. Not crazy busy on the weekends. Seems like a place folks come to for a first drink. Good pour, poor wine and the kitchen stays open pretty late. The food is tasty.

Weak ass drinks in a plastic cup... enough said... the scene is indie punk rock.. cover charge was 10.00 for everyone.. was it worth it? Not to me. The venue is tiny, full of people who still want to be indie kid cool.. but you know they hold a full time job for the man... and Friday night they grab their printed t's . checkered Vans, and pretend to be teenagers without a care in the world.. for a 10 buck cover charge. The drinks were sadly made, I can make better drinks.. the bartender was this emasculated thin geek with dark rim glasses.. who didn't look like he wanted to bar tend, but probably worked there to be a cool kid and listen to indie rock bands who wear band outfits as their gig costume.. this place is so not for me... but hey different strokes for different folks.

The best thing about this place is the music. First I heard a cross between disco and funk; then it swam into the 80's (but the less popular tunes). I thought I'd be the only one who knew the lyrics because of my age but I saw others' lips moving accurately to the words. The service from Carmen (one of the waitresses) was really sweet but a tad absent-minded. The other waitress seemed very bitter - scowl on her face and pushing people instead of giving the friendly tap and saying "excuse me". I have to say that the drinks I ordered were BAD. My Margarita was so sour and bitter that I had to return it. The vodka tonics must have been made with grade Z tonic water as it tasted like dirty soda water. I won't even get into the dirty martini. The crowd is friendly overall and let me and my friend share the roller benches with them.
