This place is probably the most trendy one I've been so far! The music just gets you going. The place is beautifully decorated. It's a very lively place and loud which I like, it encourages to sit closer to your better half/potential honey and talk into their ear ;) oh yeah besides getting it on, the food is great!

I've enjoyed many nights here... The drinks are ok and are overpriced (aren't they all?) but if you come on the right night you can have an amazing time.. I've seen a few different crowds attend- from the slighly yuppyish city folk to the burningman folk... The music definitely dictates the crowd, so check out the website before you go... Also, sign up online and get on the guest list free....File this place in the back of your brain: it's always there for you if need to get your groove on...

Yea I don't know why I keep coming back to this place. I normally don't frequent the same club more than 2 times. I've been here thrice. It depends who you go here with. If your friends are boring, then you'd better drink your ass into oblivion because that's the only way you'll enjoy yourself. The music is top 40's shit. The main dance space downstairs gets crowded real quick. The upstairs area is pretty cool because it looks like someones living room and it is spacious but it's always empty. It's usually an Asian crowd. The last time I went, we met some interesting characters. Go here if you're rolling at least 5 heads deep. Definitely come early before the guestlist closes, it's not worth it to pay cover. Parking isn't too bad and there's a Safeway near by for all your "car bar" needs.

I like small venues. And maybe that's why I like Cafe Du Nord. For me it's all about actually being able to SEE the band. Speaking of which, you shorter folks should try to get close to the stage because it's low to the ground and you won't be able to see much if you're in the back. Fortunately I'm 6 feet tall so I don't have this problem. Ha ha! Sucks for you. Anyway, the interior has an old-time feel, which is appropriate as Cafe Du Nord was once a speakeasy.
