Food, "ladies", ambience, bar ... everything is wonderful! One of the top 10 restaurants to visit in San Francisco. You won't be sorry. It's like no other. P.S. The ice cream is too cute.

I had never been to the Avalon before Tigerheat moved there from the Arena. Let me say UPGRADE. Call me silly, but I love the look of the place. There was a show playing one night and they accomodated everyone upstairs in a lounge until the show was over and everything was set up. I was impressed with how quickly the place was transformed for Tigerheat, especially knowing how longgggg bands take in between sets and things like that. Overall, I like the place, the drinks they were serving were kind of pricey ($12 for an AMF??) and small and weak and everything else you'd expect. Parking is kind of shitty, back at the Arena we could find spots on the street within walking distance, but parking next door to the Avalon costs anywhere from $12-25! That's kind of a downer and takes away from me wanting to blow cash at the bar. Save your liquor money for parking and get loaded in the car before going in.
