by Nichelle Rieffenberger on It's definately a prep bar for the night. Loud danceusic nlasting through the speakers overhead, semi dim lit, with lots of the "creepy old guy" atmosphere. It's okay, they're friendly. The bartenders do pour strong, 7 second pours vs 4 seconds. Overall, it's a nice vibe here. I'm straight so I wasn't looking for action here. It's just a cool place to chill for a bit.
by Angela G. on I really liked the decor, large size, and music of the place. It does get super hot on the dance floor though. Also, on a Saturday cover was $15 and then a typical double drink is $15 so you're looking at blowing a good amount of money to have fun here. Also, I wish they would keep a look out for really drunk guys because I had my bottom grabbed very hard 3 times while I was on the dance floor and so did my friend. If you have money to blow and want to have fun, Trinity is the place to do it.
by Inga Ley on how can anyone give a low score to el rio. it is one of the only non claustrophobic hotspots in the city, that back yard is epic, and it gets good bands. Bloody Mare Mares take it there. i can even stand bitches w leggings under denim shorts here. ROCK ON EL RIO
