by Hideki K. on I am a fan of 300. No, not the movie... the bowling alley at Chelsea Piers! It's a atmosphere for a young tween crowd with music videos projected on top of the pins. It's never been crowded when I have been there. They are very strict with time limits and will cut you off even if in the middle of a game / frame. There are two leagues that meet here regularly, the Sunday Bowling League and Monday Night Madness. I still need to check out Lucky Strike to compare the two.
by Linh Feraco on Pure. Wow. This is tasteful. Comparing the rest of 6th street to Pure is like comparing a sturdy silver watch to a diamond-encrusted miniature plastic baseball helmet. Whereas one of them is merely smart and functional, the other actually takes the effort to be tacky, pointless, jarring, and obnoxious.
