by Paul P. on Excellent experience! Excellent decor! The main dining area was cool. Wood floors and ceilings. The walls curvy and smooth, which reminded me of mother-of-pearl. Dividing walls that change colors, but not noticeable. Lots of straight lines and cool curves. Would be a good date location. Excellent service! Our server and support staff was attentive and helpful in answering questions that I had. Excellent food! I went with other rateclubser suggestions and ordered the Omakase tasting menu with the lobster and kobe fillet. A very tasty 8-course meal where each course was unique and full of flavor. Excellent!
by Kham C. on There were pro's and con's at The Park. Overall, it was ok. You'll definitely have to go with a Fun Party to have a great time. PRO's: great ambiance and decor..Great for group settings..although I thought it was a bit odd that it had an Asian inspired decor but the food was full on American cuisine. The restaurant itself, including the indoor and outdoor patio garden was very spacious. It's a restaurant turn lounge (downstairs).. turn club (upstairs) at night. The "club" upstairs was not much of a club. It was more of an outdoor/rooftop lounge. Overall, if you want to lounge, have few drinks in NYC that won't cost you and arm and a leg, The Park may be a good pre-party spot, but not if you are looking to party all night.
by Francene Orman on I wrote a longer review for this but it accidently deleted...so here it is in a nutshell: I was here when the celtics were kickin the crap outta the lakers, so it was a pretty appropriate atmosphere. but i was bar hopin and pretty drunk so maybe that enhanced the experience? haha. anyways, the drinks were pricey but whatevs...if you find a guy to buy for you, you're GOLDEN! haha. i like the fact that there are numerous floors. the music is good and the stairs are a good way to burn off all those party calories
