I've been here a few times, and I will continue to come back and send friends as long as Ecco continues to serve delicious Mediterranean fare and keeps up their extensive wine list. I especially love the charcuterie selection and the goat cheese appetizer.
by Vicente Barricelli on I've been to M-Sex many, many times. I love the music, most of the time. However, one thing that I just discovered and felt compelled to write about was the food! Go there for the food! The salads are excellent and generous, the pressed sandwiches tasty, and everything is prepared quickly, yet is home made. Best of all, it's cheap! You could go next door to the Miracle and spent way too much on a mediocre burger and shoddy service, or you could to M-Sex before 10, sit at the bar, and enjoy yourself a tasty mohito or a nice glass of wine, and the chicken salad with stilton! PS- although the food was grand, the DJ kind of sucked...his iphone kept ringing- loudly- and it was as if he were playing records for the first time- constantly raising the volume to a deafening level, then lowering it so we could barely hear. I feel like with the music- EXCEPT ON HEARTHROB NIGHT- is hit or miss.
by Rhoi C. on Upon walking in the door you are faced with a blanket of fog with fire projected on it, you walk through and you enter an amazingly lit club and a beautiful sea of people. The small dance floor that's surrounded by circular arches is crowded with people that actually know how to dance. In the crowd you spot celebrities dancing with everyone else and everyone is having a great time. The music is a mix of tastefully updated classics and new jams. If you look up at the lighting fixtures, they look like melting light bulbs or water filled condoms (honestly). Check this place out, but beware, if you're a guy and don't have celebrity status, make sure you bring a bunch of moderate looking girls or a few gorgeous ones to get you in. Otherwise you have no chance. To drink, try my favorite: Grey Goose Pear & Tonic.
