ugh. temple. judging by looks alone, this should be a really great nightclub. it's huge, and the decor on the first floor is pretty nice. unfortunately, they decided to reserve that level for nasty house music, the worst i have ever heard! and this is coming from a girl who claims to like house. they delegate hip hop to the grungy-ass basement, but instead of the usual "club" hip hop, the dj plays weird, terrible-sounding mashups. i also had to pay $20 of cover, which i'm pretty sure was an arbitrary charge courtesy of le bouncer. needless to say, i was not pleased. i definitely will not be coming back here again.

Alright. Here we go. the good: the music was awesome (i had my first Busta Rhymes "Touch It" experience here.. which then became my favorite song everrrrr) the jellyfish thing was cool the bar is great! the drinks were good the go go dancers were pretty. the bad: the line was crazy.. but ok, its nyc so ok.. even at the end of the night, when no one new was coming, we couldn't even sit on a bed. NO ONE ELSE WAS COMING! we didn't need to see the busty strippers coming out of a downstairs private room with dollars hanging out of their g-strings. NYC always has "just tell the ppl you are with me" ppl in line who are lying and... we had to pay out our ass anyway and... i gave the money taking chick $40 bucks on a $25 cover and.. she TRIED TO KEEP IT ALL! the ugly: all the other customers...

This place does everything different. Not necessarily bad, but different. Their lobster sauce is a different color than at other restaurants, their lo mien uses flat noodles instead of round noodles, etc. No don't get me wrong, the food still tastes good, but if you are looking for American-Chinese comfort food, go to your local hole in the wall. Some of this may have to do with their attempt to prepare the food in a more healthy manner, which I give them kudos for. It also says in the menu that they will prepare all dishes to order should you have food allergies or other problems, which I think is nice. For the decor, think 80's nightclub. I was looking around for a blow-up palm tree. The service is good, the food was fast and the waiter somewhat helpful.
