by Sari Kutchin on I went to Bhangra night here and had an awesome time. Their drinks are interesting, and really decently priced. The place looks like a wooden shack on the inside, but somehow it works. The DJ that night was awesome. Surprisingly, when I looked up, he definitely was NOT Indian. I'm pretty sure he was white, but man did he rock that bhangra set.

Because despite the terrible sound system, cheesy disco lights and tacky faux castle decor, filthy bathrooms and overpriced drinks, Europa gave me the chance to see a band that has been one of my favorites for almost a decade. Uz Jsme Doma played in New York last night for the first time in six years, and because of the tiny venue and intimate setting, I was able to hug every member of the band and let them know how much I love their music. And it only cost me $10. Thank you, Europa.
by Catherine S. on The food is very yummy here...I especially love the fried plantains! It's good to get in early for dinner, before the crazy dance scene starts up. When I have been there for dancing, it's fun, but just a bit too crowded. Be sure to sip a Caipirinha or Mojito.
