OMG this was the best meal I've ever had. Finally after years of watching Top Chef, I feel like I finally know what a perfect scallop and poached egg are supposed to be like. I'm sure the absolute hunky adorableness of Chef Kevin Gillespie made everything taste that much better. It was well worth my whole paycheck to dine here.

Half night club, half bowling alley. There's no denying that Lucky Strike is an attractive option to the seedy run down alleys I grew up in. The wait to roll there on a Saturday is absurd. Way too long. Took us 2 hours to get on. I played so much pool waiting I became a shark. The food is OK for what it is, and I downed a great White Russian (in honor of The Dude) There are tons of staff everywhere so you shouldn't have any problems getting help when needed. I really dug the vibe of the place, but over all just a little too long to wait and it's extremely expensive.

This is my first review. I've been looking up places on rateclub since I moved here 1 year ago and I promised myself that I would never write a bad review because mostly its personal preference. That went out the window tonight with B & B: BEWARE: THERE MAY BE 2 SHOWS AND YOUR $20 ONLY BOUGHT YOU 1 HOUR OF ENTERTAINMENT That said, the music was great so it gets 1 star (should be 2 but I'm so angry). I liked the food which gets the 2nd star. And the food was pretty well priced ($20 for their top entree), which should get another star. BUT... I cannot believe that I had to pay $17.50 for a show that lasted 1 hour. AND right before intermission, the band TOLD us that they had just gotten off of a plane and that they were just now warming: "Get ready for the second half." Then our waitress diligently cleared our meal (great Jambalaya), gave us our check, and the manager kindly kicked us to the curb. "You were here for the 8 o'clock show. We need to clear house for the 10 o'clock show." In their defense, this was probably written up somewhere. BUT when we walked in, bought our ticket to the show and were seated at a table, we weren't told that we would have to leave in 2 hours, so I'm calling it a tourist trap...especially since it's 2 blocks from Union Square. I still won't go back, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
