3.5 stars This is the cleanest and one of the nicest places you'll ever find to go bowling. It's spotless and very chic with its modern decor, stylish bar and lounge area. I'm surprised they didn't have Calvin Klein designer bowling shoes. This is a place to go to kill the assumptions that bowling alley's are wood paneled smoky scummy places erected in the 70s and full of fat rednecks and senior citizens groups. If you're a well-off wall street kinda guy or a woman who likes to spend hundreds on your shoes and hand bags then this is a great place to come on a date or with your many friends and/or co-workers. For me this place is way too expensive and my ideal Bowling alley would be in between the stereotypes (which many of the places in the outer boroughs fit to a T) and here.  This place is cool to impress your friends and have a party like environment with it's black lights and music videos playing above the lanes but its just too expensive to come here from time to time.

The New Wave Cafe is worthwhile adventure. it's a corner bar with homestyle polish cooking. There are some booths in the back where the alien like decor covers the walls. apparently latenight on weekends it becomes a disco. a great selection of polish beers.  friends had the bigos and keilbasa platter. i had yummy borcht and steamed pierogies. (had them fried on another visit and they are much better steamed.) try both the potato and the mushroom - both are great.

Space and Layout = 4 stars Bar service = 2.5 stars I came here with a group of friends for a big birthday party on Saturday night and it was pretty fun.  We came early (around 11:30pm) to avoid the lines and the place filled up pretty quickly.  Earth is very spacious and has two levels.  The DJ spins frat-party tunes while people gyrate on the dance floor.  The bartender on the second floor was ridiculously overwhelmed and at one point motioned that he was going to stop serving, but continued to pour drinks.  This seems like a good place to throw a party, and possibly do dinner beforehand (although I am highly skeptical of their asian fusion).
